OUR MISSION
Rising Hope Church exists to actively reach and guide people into a meaningful relationship with Christ and encourage them throughout their spiritual journey to become fully engaged disciples of Christ.
OUR VISION
All who call Rising Hope their church home will spend quality time Worshipping, Growing, and Sharing.
Worshipping in church services and individual devotions
Growing spiritually through Bible Study and prayer.
Sharing God’s love through service, outreach activities, and witnessing.

Meet our Pastors
Pastor Amber grew up in North Carolina. Upon graduating from university, she spent a year living in Russia, teaching and working with children and teens. While attending Asbury Theological Seminary, she met Eric. After a whirlwind romance, they were married in 1999 and now have 5 amazing children. For a decade they were missionaries with Global Partners ministering to local communities through compassionate work and Bible study.
As the journey of life took unexpected twists and turns, they arrived in Urbana, IL, in 2012, with Eric as pastor of FWC. Pastor Amber enjoyed focusing on her children during this busy decade of mom-life. But God opened a new plan in June of 2020, when Pastor Amber was appointed lead pastor of FWC. Her vision is for FWC to be a community of believers who worship together, grow together, and SHARE the life changing truth of Jesus throughout the Urbana community.
